PARIS, June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- HR Access today announces that it has signed an agreement to acquire Atlasys, a leading integrator of HR Access products in the Middle East and Africa. The acquisition is part of a larger HR Access plan to expand into strategic markets. With nearly 500 people now combined, HR Access is running operations in 10 countries. The acquisition is subject to approval by the Central Bank of Tunisia.
Based in Tunisia, Atlasys is a longstanding regional partner of HR Access. Over the past 18 months Atlasys' sales force has been instrumental in increasing the market share of HR Access solutions in the region. As part of the partnership, Atlasys has also been providing technical expertise and support to two HR Access departments: product development and maintenance and professional services and training.
The acquisition of Atlasys by HR Access takes this existing relationship to a new level, with exciting new opportunities for growth and enhanced customer service. It will energize HR Access's development in the region by combining Atlasys' high-growth strategy and local sales presence with HR Access corporate sales and marketing resources. Existing Atlasys customers will benefit from a more direct relationship with HR Access, while continuing to rely on the expertise and support of their current Atlasys consultants. Finally, by making an investment of this magnitude HR Access is demonstrating its long-term commitment to this fast growing region.
