    Lizzo es la artista máxima favorita para la 62 edición de los Premios Grammy al acumular un total de ocho nominaciones, incluyendo las tres más importantes: Grabación del Año ('Truth Hurts'), Álbum del Año ('Cuz I Love You'), Canción del Año ('Truth Hurts') y Mejor Nuevo Artista -una categoría en la que también compite la española Rosalía-.

    Siguen de cerca a Lizzo dos nombres, Billie Eilish y Lil Nas X, con seis nominaciones cada uno. La primera está presente también en las categorías principales: Grabación del Año ('Bad Guy'), Álbum del Año ('When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?'), Canción del Año ('Bad Guy') y Mejor Nuevo Artista. Bien posicionada está también Ariana Grande, que opta a cinco premios.
